Hi Team,
We are excited to announce that Rhode Island Wing will be participating in 401 Gives, the state’s biggest day of giving, on March 31st and April 1st! This is a fantastic opportunity for us to raise vital funds to support our missions, programs, and members. While the event is still a few weeks away, we wanted to give you a "heads up" so you can start thinking about how you can help us make a significant impact. The success of online giving days relies heavily on the strength of our collective networks. We don't need you to make a donation yourself—we need you to help us spread the word! How you can prepare:
* Think about your network: Consider friends, family, and colleagues who might be interested in supporting the Wing’s mission. * Identify your "Why": Think about why you serve in the Civil Air Patrol. Personal stories are the most powerful way to inspire others to give.
What’s coming next: In the next week, we will provide you with a toolkit of ready-to-use messages and social media posts. You won’t have to write a thing—just copy, paste, and share! To get you started, here is a preview of how you can support the campaign:
* Share and share alike: Help us grow our reach by sending our upcoming campaign emails to your personal contacts. * Be socially active: Use your Facebook, Instagram, or X (Twitter) accounts to share your passion for the Wing and our local impact. * Become a fundraising champion: If you want to go the extra mile, you can create a personal fundraising page to drive people to our profile.
Thank you in advance for your dedication to the Rhode Island Wing. Together, we can make this our most successful 401 Gives yet!
Carpe diem,
Col Stan Skrabut
