Civil Air Patrol has been invited to participate in the Rehoboth Public Safety Day in Rehoboth, Massachusetts on September 19 from 1000-1400. The rain date for the event is September 20.
This is a great chance to engage in recruiting new members into our organization, particularly for the Pawtucket Squadron, as Rehoboth is relatively close to the city.
There will also be opportunities to engage with public safety agencies and learn about their capabilities and share the capabilities that CAP can offer. Specifically, we will have opportunities to:
* Learn about the communications capabilities that Mansfield Emergency Management provides for incident management * Interact with Boston MedFlight (the helicopter is scheduled to make an appearance) * See a demonstration of the Rehoboth K9 unit’s capabilities * See an auto extrication demonstration by Rehoboth Fire and Rehoboth Ambulance * See electrical safety demonstrations by National Grid * Get trained in Hands Only CPR and Stop the Bleed
