Hi Team,
Over two and a half hours ago, my time as your Rhode Island Wing Commander came to a close. I want to sincerely thank each of you for your support, dedication, and commitment over this past year.
Serving alongside you has been a privilege. The strength of this wing comes from its members, who continue to give their time and talent in service to our communities, our state, and our nation.
I also want to specifically recognize and thank Col Phil Hirons, our former wing commander, for providing such a strong foundation to build upon. His leadership gave us a great base to work from, and I believe that together we have continued to move the Rhode
Island Wing forward. In many ways, I feel we have leveled up as a wing.
Now, I ask each of you to provide that same level of support, professionalism, and commitment to your new wing commander, Col Warren Weiss. He will need your continued energy, ideas, teamwork, and dedication as he leads the wing into its next chapter.
Rhode Island Wing has tremendous potential, and I encourage all of you to keep building, keep improving, and keep raising the standard. Continue to level up.
Thank you again for allowing me the honor of serving with you.
Carpe diem,
Col Stan Skrabut
